Pulpotomy (Root Canal for Kids)
Pulpotomy/ pulpectomy can also be understood as a kid’s root canal. It is done when the inside of a tooth (called the pulp) becomes infected or injured, usually due to extensive decay. We carefully clean out the infected area and then seal the tooth. This saves your child’s teeth from having to be pulled out and keeps their smile intact.
